Miki's love of Hawaii began while attending the University of Hawaii Manoa majoring in Biology/pre-nursing. After completing her BS in Nursing at Columbia University in NYC she was returning to her island home when she met her husband in Colorado. Many years later after showing her husband (Mitch) the islands they settled back on the south shore of Kauai.Miki has been a nurse for more than 30 years specializing in skin care and has been the owner of Island Health and Wellness for 10 years.
